The bold tachymeter scale and intricate dial design give this model an unmistakable dynamic. Available in black-silver with fiery red accents or deep blue-silver with striking yellow highlights, the Tachymeter 2.0 is guaranteed to turn heads.

Worry-free thanks to sapphire crystal

We only use sapphire crystal for our timepieces. This type of watch glass is usually found in the luxury watch market.

For a perfect view of the dial, we apply a double anti-reflective coating to the sapphire crystal.

What exactly is sapphire crystal?

Sapphire is the third hardest transparent material in the world - after diamond and moissanite.

Curved sapphire crystal not only looks good, it makes the durable watch crystal even more resistant.

This makes it virtually impossible for your sapphire crystal watch to get scratched in everyday life.

With a newly engineered case, this bad boy is now water-resistant up to 10 bar (double the previous version). Plus, the double-domed sapphire crystal keeps it scratch-free, and the powerful Luminova ensures the multi-layer dial and hands glow bright, even in low light.

Under the hood, the Tachymeter 2.0 runs on the precise Seiko Mecha-Quartz VK63 movement. The tactile pushers, bezel scale, and chronograph hand give it that classic mechanical motorsport feel.

Flip it over, and you’ll find a real showstopper – an engraved case back featuring two rally-inspired designs: a powerful uphill climb or a fast-paced downhill race through snowy mountain passes. A perfect nod to precision driving and pure adrenaline.

Multifunctional chronograph movement

Inside, the precise Seiko Mecha-Quartz VK63 movement combines the best of both worlds: quartz accuracy with the authentic feel of a mechanical chronograph.

Tactile pushers, the bezel scale, and the chrono hand deliver the true sensation of classic racing timepieces.

Strap from a German leather manufactory

The leather strap of the Tachymeter 2.0 comes from a Bavarian manufactory.

To preserve the natural feel of the leather, we use fully tanned instead of coated straps. This complex tanning process makes each strap a handcrafted one-of-a-kind piece.

Alternatively, choose the stainless steel bracelet for a robust look or the soft nylon strap – perfect for summer.

Easy strap change without tools

Thanks to the quick-change system, you can give your timepiece a new look in just 10 seconds:

1 — Slide the pin of the spring bar inwards.

2 — Pull the strap off the watch.

3 — Put on a new strap by sliding the pin inwards again and inserting the spring bar one after the other into the holes in the case.

Can I order the watch with a different strap?

We are happy to check if your desired watch can be ordered with an alternative strap. Simply send an e-mail to support@sternglas.com and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.

How long does the battery last?

The batteries we use typically last between 2-5 years. We recommend having a jeweler or watchmaker perform a battery replacement.

What do the Chronograph functions do?

The chronograph stop function allows you to measure seconds and minutes precisely.

With the date function, you always know exactly "what day it is today".

Using the tachymeter scale engraved on the bezel, you can measure speeds.

How to read a tachymeter scale?

1 — Check your mileage. At the next kilometer mark, start the tachymeter by pressing the start button (button A). The central chronograph hand will move.

2 — Keep an eye on the mileage display. At the next kilometer mark (1 km), pause the stopwatch (button A).

3 — You can now read your average speed on the tachymeter scale.
